Shootout Point Chips
Between now and the end of the Player Party on October 25, Point Chips cost $100 each. When the party ends, chips must then be purchased from Deb Cahill in person at ATA and the cost goes up to $200 each. So…. STOCK UP NOW!
If you’ve not been to The Shootout before then you need to know that Point Chips are what make the matches totally unpredictable! Any team or individual can buy unlimited amounts of chips. Point Chips may be used at any time except to win a game. However, to use more than one chip in a game, the cost of using a chip doubles in use.
For example: if a point chip is used on the first point to go up 15-0 and then at 15-30 you want to use a chip to go up 30-30, it will cost two chips. If you want the next point to go 40-30, it will cost four chips. When a team uses a chip or chips, the other team may use their own chips to NEUTRALIZE.
As you can see, you want to have lots of chips, or your team to have lots of chips, to put into play during all the matches on Saturday!
